Yoga is a vast collection of techniques and practices aimed at integrating mind, body and spirit to achieve a state of ultimate wellness. At LeDeSpa, we offer a wide variety of yoga sessions.
Why private yoga? Individual sessions are customized to fit the needs of each student, so beginners can work on the fundamentals and more experienced students can work on specific needs. A session allows students of any level to explore specific areas of interest such as learning basic poses, alignment in poses, meditation, breath work, healing from injury, philosophy and more. Sessions can be taught in any style of yoga such as beginner, gentle, vinyasa, hatha, or structured around a particular theme such as heart opening, arm balances, stress management, or meditative.
All sessions will be held upstairs above LaDeDa Le Salon in LaDeSpa Wellness.
About the Instructor: Stephanie O’Hara (RYT 200) has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. Her lifetime practice has helped her uncover the true connection between mind and body and helped center and strengthen her in all facets of life. She feels whole and alive and invincible on her mat. While teaching high school English for many years, she incorporated principles of yoga and meditation into her curriculum as a way to center and focus students. She was eventually inspired to transition her teaching from the classroom to the mat!
Forever a student, she will always continue to pursue education in yoga. She has had the honor to train under Deepak Chopra, Andrew Weil, Rodney Yee and Doug Swenson, along with many other inspirational teachers. Her greatest inspirations are really her students, and she is grateful everyday to be able to share her love of the practice with others. She challenges her students to move beyond their perceived limitations and encourages them to find openings in body and mind to strengthen the physical and spiritual self.
Ready to get started? Before an initial session, there can be a brief consultation to discuss goals, any injuries/limitations and any specifics a student would like to see incorporated into sessions.
